Mentorship Program

Each new member of Fairleigh Early Birds (FEB) is assigned a mentor. A mentor at FEB is a member who's been with the club for over a year, knows how Toastmasters works, and is willing to help the new member improve faster.

Our mentoring program is run by the president. If you are an existing member and you would like to have a mentor, or change a mentor, please contact the president. You don't have to ask the president for a new mentor, though, you can ask another member directly and then let the president know.

Fairleigh Early Birds Toastmasters Club is a club with a long tradition. We have been around since 1980! And because we have been around for so many years, we have some very experienced members. Some have been with the club for over 20 years! These members are willing to help new members!

A mentor can help you improve faster by providing valuable feedback and tips for improvement. A mentor can also help you answer any questions you might have about a role you've been assigned to, or any other question.

At Fairleigh Early Birds, we encourage the new members to reach out to their mentors (don't be shy): ask how you're doing, ask what you can do to improve, communicate with your mentor on a regular basis. Your mentor is there to help you, please take advantage of this opportunity.
