When you're speaking
Prepare your speech. We all come to a Toastmaster meeting to improve, and to learn. If you come unprepared, you are showing a disrespect to other members.
Before the meeting
- Find out the name of your evaluator and get in touch with him. Tell him what you want to improve and what he or she should concentrate on.
- Read the manual and prepare your speech according to it
- Prepare. Practice makes perfect.
At the meeting
- Give the manual to your evaluator
- When speaking, concentrate on the manual's objective
