When you're speaking

Prepare your speech. We all come to a Toastmaster meeting to improve, and to learn. If you come unprepared, you are showing a disrespect to other members.

Before the meeting

  • Find out the name of your evaluator and get in touch with him. Tell him what you want to improve and what he or she should concentrate on.
  • Read the manual and prepare your speech according to it
  • Prepare. Practice makes perfect.

At the meeting

  • Give the manual to your evaluator
  • When speaking, concentrate on the manual's objective
